Ardmore Guest Farm is situated in Champagne Valley in the picturesque Drakensberg mountains in KwaZulu-Natal. The farm lies in the valley below the three highest peaks in South Africa, namely Mafadi (3450m), Injisuthi Dome (3410m), and Champagne Castle (3377m), which dominate the skyline.
Ardmore provides cozy farm-style, Dinner, bed-and-breakfast accommodation on a beautiful, organic timber farm. We have a total of 17 units to choose from, with 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms in either one of our garden-facing units or one of the several mountain-facing cottages. Our three pet-friendly cottages are fenced.
All our units have en-suite bathrooms with jacuzzi spa baths and wood fireplaces. There is also a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in every room. Free wifi is available in the main lodge complex and the guest rooms.
We have Dohne – Marino Sheep (with lots of little lambs), Dexter Cattle (Miniature Cattle), Horses and Ponies, Cameroon Dwarf Goats, Egg Laying Chickens, and Geese. All live in a happy rural environment with plenty of fresh air and lots of space with beautiful mountain views.
We have many activities in the area to choose from, all within 15min drive from us, There are Hiking trails on the mountain at Monks Cowl, Drakensberg Canopy Tours, Horseriding, Helicopter flights, Hot Air Ballooning, Drakensberg boys choir, Falcon Ridge raptor shows reptile center, two golf courses at Champaign Sports (1 Championship), and many more activities in the area.
